IRWIN Tools VISE-GRIP 9-Piece Multi-Tool Set (1868995) - Perfect for DIY Projects, Home Repairs, and Professional Workshop Use

This is a good homeowner set of tools. What I liked about this set is there are a few more things in it than the average plastic hard shelled tool kit, such as the nice sized saw and level, and the bag is big enough to add a few things. The tools are all of pretty good quality, and at this price level you probably can't get much better.there may be an overabundance of pliers for the average person but they all serve different purposes so hopefully they will all be used at some point... Again, I stress that this is a good homeowners toolkit, good for hanging pictures and the occasional nut and bolt tightening. I bought it for some newlyweds who recently left the nest and bought a condo. In addition to getting them a cordless drill, I added a few things to the kit (plastic wall anchors, a plastic plano box with assorted drywall screws from 1 1/4 to 3 inches, a stud finder, some sharp pencils and a metal saw)and they seem quite happy with it. My daughter lives in Kenya and is always talking about the nice handyman for her housing complex. His whole life is spent "rigging" stuff just to keep things running. I bought this tool set and took it to Kenya when I went to visit her. She introduced me to the guy and I thanked him for keeping things running for my daughter and her roommates. I handed him the tool set and he was overwhelmed. He is about 50 years old with grown children and had never owned a brand new tool in his life. He was especially drawn to the utility knife and multi-bit screwdriver.I have since returned home but my daughter says that he carries the new bag of tools around with a huge sense of pride and actually looks forward to fixing things now. Always looking for new projects.Great product.Nice set! Saw doesn't really fit in the bag though.Good qualityA good set I bought as a gift.
