I bought this after reading the good reviews, i have to say i can't agree with any of them.. this knife is ok but it's not particularly good quality nor is it very strong or well designed. For a start the plastic blade guard has slots in the side of it through which the blade can pass & easily cut you if you're not careful. The 'quick change' blade retaining mechanism really is a poor design, it is weak & flimsy, so much so that if you impart any sideways movement to the blade when cutting anything the blade can come loose and/or fall out. Also, the wood handle looks much more like plastic to me, so it may as well be.
