I am not an electrician and I am not well verse in finding the right wire stripper for the right gauge wire. In the past, I would get it wrong and ended up cutting the wire or only partially cutting the rubber and not exposing the wire enough. When I don't have access to a wire stripper then I have to resort to using a razor blade.
